David Chai

David Chai is a Showrunner, Writer, and Director. He created the TV drama series "A Good Cop" - a ten episode one hour serial police drama for broadcast on NTD. It is currently streaming on EpochTV. David's first feature as Writer / Director, Midnight Driver (aka Siji:Driver), won the Best Feature Film and Best Original Score awards at the 21st Long Island International Film Expo 2018. David was also nominated for Best Director.

David has an extensive background in post-production having worked for major post houses Technicolor and Deluxe in New York, working on many films, including "The Devil Wears Prada" and Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock." He also worked on fashion videos for Calvin Klein, Gucci, Victoria Beckham, Marc Jacobs and many more. His screenwriting education includes completing the Proseries, the Master Series, and the Bingeworthy TV courses at ScreenwritingU.
